Do you want to be at the heart of Spotify's Music Mission to empower artists with the tools to express themselves fully, to develop and engage their audience better than anywhere else, and to monetize their fanbase? The Music Vertical Platform powers the Spotify marketplace by building a consistent and reliable enterprise-grade platform. We are looking for a Web Engineer to join the band within the Creator Experience product area. As a member of the team, you will be building music and audience insights and reporting features on Spotify for Artists. These features contribute to Spotify�??s mission of giving a million creative artists the opportunity to live off their art, by empowering our artists to better engage with their audience and leverage the tools that we have built for them.

What you'll do
- Be a valued member of an autonomous, multi-functional agile team to take on exciting and challenging problems for delivering value to artists
- Work across the entire web stack, with modern web frameworks (Next.js, React and Node.is), distributed computing and public cloud platforms
- Work closely with backend and data engineers
- Deliver testable, maintainable, and high-quality code
- Bind our frontend and backend services together
- Collaborate with other design systems teams on evolving our shared processes and tooling
Who you are
- You are intensely curious and passionate about the prospect of diving deep in multiple areas.
- You want to become significantly more T-shaped and learn new skills and technologies.
- You have strong experience in crafting and developing web experiences using Javascript/Typescript (React), HTML, and CSS.
- You have experience with continuous delivery and automated testing
- You are comfortable working in an agile environment and are comfortable challenging yourself and your team to improve their ways of working
- You care deeply about usability, accessibility and performance
- You are adaptable and inventive and you are able to develop effective solutions to problems

- Where in the world? For this role, it can be within the US east coast region in which we have a work location

The United States base range for this position is $100,706 - $175,308, plus equity. The benefits available for this position include health insurance, six month paid parental leave, 401(k) retirement plan, monthly meal allowance, 23 paid days off, 13 paid days off, 13 paid flexible holidays. The ranges may be modified in future.
